Here's a short and sad tale, sent in by one of you, to which we can probably all relate:

My Message: sometimes i feel like i cant to anything right. that im so judged. ugh. {end story.}

Here @OOC HQ, we believe so strongly that feeling judged is a buzzkill without upside, that not jusdging anyone else's decisions, POV, thoughts is the one and only rule of the site.  Disagree passsionately, cool.  Judge?  not cool.

Our house rules aside, we've all felt judged at some point.  By others, by that little voice in our head…and sometimes we even do the judging.  So let's talk about it.  Is there a time in your life when you felt as our writer does?  So judged and like you couldn't do anything right?  Sucks.  How'd you get past it?  No judgments here.  XO

    Not only do i feel like i never do anything right, i usually don’t do it right!!! making mistakes is so much easier than feeling judged though, cuz at least i can learn from your mistakes. no upside to feeling judged.

    I feel judged whenever I walk into a crowded room. I feel like everyone’s looking at me and not liking what they see. You know that feeling where people look at you, look you up and own and then look away dismissively?

    My mom was very judgmental. She was quite attractive when she was young, and her mother made a huge deal about it. Looking your best was really important, and the main topic of most conversations between the two of them. So when I was little there were tons of negative comments about people’s clothes and weight. it made me feel insecure and angry. Unfortunately some of it rubbed off on me. I would never say disparaging things out loud, but I hear them in my head. Bums me out.
