Her gap-toothed smile helped show and sell the beauty in so-called imperfection (interestingly, it was Richard Avedon who insisted she show the space between her teeth)…Lauren said this:
"We have to be able to grow up. Our wrinkles are our medals of the passage of life. They are what we have been through and who we want to be."

I kind of like to think that the absence of wrinkles will be my medal of honor. Wrinkles are just wrinkles.
